It was too early to make any hasty judgments at the time, but time has proven the glorifications right. In recent years, Lamar has been confirming his exceptionalism with a slew of albums, including the new one DAMN.If you don't mind losing, we can have a good argument: who is really rap's number one and what is the main factor? Juicy flow? Colourful, strong atmosphere-laden lyrics that engulf you? Punchlines that knock your teeth out and burn themselves into your memory like a brand?
