Another Led Zeppelin concert milestone, the soundtrack to their concert film "The Song Remains The Same" has been remastered and will be re-released in 2018 in various formats. The rock legends' concerts at New York's Madison Square Garden in July 1973 were recorded for the film. The soundtrack was originally released in 1976. In addition to the double CD version, a box set with 4 LPs and 180g vinyl and a Blu-ray Audio with 5.1 mix (96 kHz / 24 bit), "The Song Remains The Same" is also available as an expanded super deluxe edition with remastered soundtracks on two CDs and four LPs, as well as a 2 DVD set with the complete theatrical version of the film, bonus material including four performances and outtakes that were not part of the original film: "Celebration Day", "Over The Hills And Far Away", "Misty Mountain Hop" and "The Ocean". The box set also includes a DVD of the entire album in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround and PCM stereo, a download card for the stereo audio content in 96 kHz/24 bit, a 28-page book with photos and an essay by Cameron Crowe, a replica of the 1977 Japanese program, and a copy of the original album cover (as usual, the first 30,000 copies will be individually numbered).
