Jelen releases their fourth full-length album The collection of 12 new original songs is titled EVERYTHING WILL BE GOOD The whole year 2023 is marked by the celebration of 10 years of the group's existence. A musical group that has managed to reach fans across all generations with its songs. In just one decade, it has played more than 1,000 shows. Hits such as Magdaléna, Jelen, Co bylo dál, Klidná jako voda, Ještě jednu noc, have become popular. The new Jelen album is also in the birthday spirit. The album Everything Will Be Fine will be released on October 6 by Singlton. The band will christen and present the album live at their birthday concert on 2 December at the O2 Arena. The band has invited a number of interesting, but also unexpected guests for the recording. Through real legends such as Jiří Pavlica and Hradišťan or Robert Křesťan with Druha tráva. Through friends of Rybička 48, Katerina Maria Ticha, to relatives. Brother of frontman Jindra Polák or permanent member of the band Pepa Málek, who also presents himself for the first time as an author and solo singer. Already the choice of the performers raised suspicions that they would manage to mix the so-called spicy deer goulash, but in the end it was rather an imaginary tasting menu, where each song is a unique and extraordinary affair. Jindra Polák comments as follows: "The new album is called "Everything will be good". If Jelen has a philosophy of life, this title describes it perfectly. You will find twelve songs here, each one different, yet 100% deer. This time we invited some guests to help us, people we respect, people who inspire us, who are our role models, friends we met on our musical journey and with whom we wanted to share the common joy of creation. Whether it's Jiří Pavlica with Hradistan, Robert Křesťan and Druhá tráva, Rybičky 48, my brother Petr and many other names with whom we share our love for music in all its shapes and forms. I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as we have enjoyed their work. Thank you for these wonderful ten years and we look forward to seeing you in the next ten. We are already looking forward to what surprises they will bring! Since its beginnings, Jelen has been committed to the roots of popular music. It has been very successful in bringing these into the band's contemporary modern sound. This is evidenced by their success in the Czech radio airwaves. Jeleni have become one of the most popular groups among radio programmers and listeners alike. Even on the new album, the sound of the deer is unmistakable. Folk, country, Irish folk, rock, pop. Genres blended in a way that contemporary listeners will find utterly relevant. This is made possible, among other things, by the extraordinary instrumental and vocal prowess of all the members. Jindra Polák recalls: "When I first said into the microphone at our very first concert in the jazz club U staré paní in Prague the sentence "Hello, we are Jelen!", I never dreamed that in ten years we would be releasing our fourth album and preparing the biggest birthday party in our history, a concert in Prague's O2 arena. The original three founding members have since grown into a herd of eight, and on our adventurous voyage we have experienced things we never dreamed of in our wildest dreams. We have found our language, our melody, and most importantly, a bunch of friends who have taken our music to heart, come to hear us play and sing along. We share the energy, the joy and the emotions that unite us and that, on some deepest level, we all experience together. Deer is a 10-year-old this year, and our Deer family has long since grown beyond the band itself. It's a great honor and responsibility, and we appreciate it and don't take it for granted."
